Samsung The Premiere LSP9T Review (2026): The 130-Inch TV Killer

Samsung The Premiere LSP9T

9.1 / 10

VERDICT

This is the ultimate home theater upgrade. It delivers a massive 130-inch 4K image from a device that sits just inches away from your wall. With Triple Laser technology, the colors are vibrant enough to rival a QLED TV, and the built-in sound system is surprisingly powerful. It’s expensive, but cheaper than a 100" TV.

The Big Picture

Traditional projectors are a hassle: you need to mount them on the ceiling, run long cables, and sit in total darkness. The Premiere changes the rules. It is an "Ultra Short Throw" (UST) projector. You place it on your TV cabinet, and it shoots the image straight up onto the wall. No shadows when people walk by, and no installation headaches.

🌈 Triple Laser Technology

The Tech: Unlike standard projectors that use a color wheel (which can cause rainbow effects), the LSP9T uses separate Red, Green, and Blue lasers.
The Result: The color purity is insane. It covers 106% of the BT.2020 color space—wider than almost any flat-panel TV on the market today.

🔊 4.2 Channel Acoustic Beam

Most projectors have terrible speakers.
The Audio: This unit has a powerful 40-watt sound system built-in behind the fabric grille. It uses "Acoustic Beam" technology to fire sound through 44 holes, creating a wide soundstage that fills the room without needing an external soundbar.

The Pros

  • Massive Screen: Up to 130 inches of 4K glory.
  • Ultra Short Throw: Sits inches from the wall (easy setup).
  • Smart TV OS: Runs Tizen (same as Samsung TVs) with Netflix, YouTube, etc.
  • Very bright (2800 ANSI Lumens) for a projector.

The Cons

  • Black Levels: Cannot compete with OLED in a dark room (blacks look dark gray).
  • Requires ALR Screen: For daytime use, you absolutely need a special "ALR" screen (adds to cost).
  • Expensive ($3,500+).

🤔 Should you buy it?

YES if you want the "Cinema Experience" at home with a screen larger than 100 inches.

NO if you are a stickler for "perfect blacks" or primarily watch TV during the day in a sunny room (stick to a large TV).
