This is the definition of "Retrofit" done right. Instead of buying expensive new smart blinds ($500+), you keep your existing cheap blinds and add this $70 motor. It controls the "tilt" (angle) of the slats perfectly, giving you privacy or light instantly. The solar charging is efficient enough that you never need to plug it in.
The Big Picture
Installing motorized blinds usually involves drilling and wiring. The Blind Tilt simply clamps onto the twist wand of your current blinds. It includes a light sensor, so you can set it to "Light Mode": keep the room at a constant brightness level by adjusting the slat angle as the sun moves across the sky.
